WHAT WE DO

Congo Fashion Institute’s mission is to support the development of the fashion economy in the DRC by promoting talent and improving the quality and sustainability of the local value chain.

WHO WE ARE

Created to respond to an urgent need for organisation and structure within the fashion and craft industry in the DRC and also to facilitate the regional integration, Congo Fashion Institute is a network of collaboration and exchanges between professionals of the sector. Congo Fashion Institute is the bridge between education, the labour market and entrepreneurship.

Congo Fashion Institute was created in order to give different players in this field the necessary tools for the expansion of the industry, the promotion, branding, investment and marketing of their brands both nationally and internationally.

Congo Fashion Institute also aims to organise several events throughout the year ahead of the main event in October which is the great edition of Congo Fashion Week. We work in partnership with the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts of Kinshasa (ISAM) which is one of the oldest fashion schools in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
